stop 27: Lady Liberty
Our next daytrip was to Liberty Island where, believe it or not, I have never been to.
Looking at the Mother of Exiles up close reminded me of who I am & more importantly, where I am. And as the ferry that took us to the island sailed around past her, I glanced up and muttered a quick "thank you" for the warm welcome...
